State Medical Faculty has completed its centenary journey in 2014. It has been a long journey since 1914 for professional teaching to para medics, in the state. The centenary celebration was held on 25 February, 2015 which was inaugurated by the then President, the then DME, Govt of West Bengal Prof Susanta Bandopadhyay in presence of the then Vice President, Prof Pradip Mitra. Distinguished personalities attended the program and the panel discussion. Staff Members and eminent personalities were felicitated and the President inaugurated a wonderful fountain that was erected at the premises of the Faculty.
